Associate Social Media Manager

McKinsey Sinclair is a senior at University of Houston studying Nutrition and Fitness and is taking a gap year to increase her patient care experience before applying to PA school. She hopes to specialize in both Dermatology and Women’s Health with the eventual goal to open a non-profit clinic in inner-city Houston. She currently holds the position of Women’s Advocacy Committee Co-Chair with UH’s American Medical Women’s Association premedical branch and is an student ambassador for Medsembly, an app which provides resources for students who are pursuing careers in medicine and allied health. She additionally has the goal to further her education by eventually applying to a graduate program and achieving a Master’s Degree in Medical Illustration. She is very passionate about addressing health literacy, disparities, and health inequities with Skin of Color education, advocacy, and research especially in reference to her local Houston community. When not working or in class, she enjoys reading fantasy fiction novels, playing with her two beloved cats, and trying new restaurants, coffee shops, and jazz lounges with friends.
