Asghar Shah is a first-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He majored in Biology at Brown University, where he was a student in the Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME). Driven by a commitment to patient perspectives and equity in dermatology, Asghar's research includes analyzing patient sentiments, characterizing the quality of dermatology information online, and addressing disparities in clinical trials, with a specific emphasis on skin of color. Growing up as a librarian's son, he enjoys reading and finds inspiration in books.
